Weaving & Coiling Workshops
KENG are excited to offer a number of workshops in the traditional basketry technique of
coiling. Participants will be invited to make a coil from an item of old clothing or other fabric.
This will be joined together to make a community artwork. This workshop is suitable for

Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Mental Health first aid training
Madeline Mitchell from Bayside Adult Mental Health Service will be delivering a 2 day training workshop on “ATSI Mental Health First Aid”. Mental Health is a rising concern and different cultures will perceive and manage health issues in different ways. This training will assist your staff when supporting consumers and families from an Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander background.
