Free

Do you have ideas about how to make Council’s services, activities, information, employment, parks or buildings more accessible?

Access, inclusion and participation can be difficult for older people in the community due to barriers. Gold Coast City Council invites you to share your insights and experiences of access to any of its services, information, programs, buildings, parks and employment at the following forum:

Date: Wednesday, 13 June 2012

Time: 1-30pm to 3-30pm

Venue: Broadbeach Library, Meeting Room B.

(free parking is available at the Library). Meeting room B is located within the library; just enter through the main doors and go to the right.

Everyone is welcome.

RSVP:by 5pm June 8. Light afternoon tea will be provided. Please advise if you have any dietary or access requirements.

The ultimate goal is to develop an Action Plan that will assist Council to create a city that is accessible to people of all ages and abilities. A place where people can actively participate in activities and programs of their choice, can access the information and places that they need to live, visit and enjoy the city, and be informed about opportunities for involvement in Council employment, initiatives or programs as they arise.
